ReadyBoostMonitor aims to make computers running Windows Vista more responsive by using flash memory on a USB 2.0 drive, CompactFlash, SD card or other form of flash memory, in order to boost system performance.
ReadyBoost provides an easy way to copy any data to the flash disk without having to install any special drivers, making the life of an average computer user more pleasurable. On average, a ReadyBoost-enabled flash drive can provide a user with a 50% performance boost by caching data.
ReadyBoost Monitor is a freeware application which aims to show you how fast your ReadyBoost cache is working. It features a notification LED which goes bright when the ReadyBoost cache is being accessed, and gives you an idea of how well it is working. There is also a Windows Taskbar button and tray icon which allows easy access to the ReadyBoost Monitor.
