NECO QuickLOAD-QuickTARGET Ballistic Prediction Software V126.96.36.199 – RETAiL
If you currently own QuickLOAD software, the V3.2 update brings a host of new features for shooting accuracy, including a tool that measures available powder capacity in the chamber before you load your ammo. The latest version comes bundled with the new QuickTarget quickers ballistic coefficients for 232 of 6mm bullets, and even supplies coefficients for the very popular Nosler Partition bullets in the database.
The dimensions of the data base is four letter state codes to identify the intended cartridges. Once the cartridge is identified the user can select and edit the necessary data to create an ammo box. The program includes a variety of multiple cal and power listed variations and is very easy to use, very intuitive. All variables will run as a single dimensional output or a mixed multidimensional output (5, 5, 5). The data can be post processed so a user can make a variety of products of differing calibers and power from a single data file. The output can be formatted as sheet, booklet or 3D full size printable. The 3D version will use common hot to color printers. The cartridge configuration can be quickly visualized in 3D. This software does not yet include “Estimated rounds per box” as yet.
NECO Ballistic Calculation and Loading Programs are the only two real time bullet/cartridge design and calculation products on the market today. There is no other program in the field that can predict the velocity of a specific load for a specific cartridge at a specific chambering. The only thing similar to this is the RTS’s which is a post-stressed program.
I have been a full time commercial handloader for the last 25+ years. Over that time I have experienced and seen many different systems come and go. The only two that I recommend, with absolute confidence are NEOCO’s QuickLOAD and Rapid Fire.
My experience with QuickLOAD has allowed me to make several different handloaders for the AR 15 platform. I am very happy with the performance and accuracy of this product.
I would say that if you are serious about making quality handloads, you owe it to yourself to make the investment in a computer based ballistic program and load design.
I would also recommend that you do some research prior to purchasing any ballistic software program. I have been developing my own ballistic program since 1988 and back in the late 1990’s I purchased a copy of the QuickLOAD program.
After using and playing with the QuickLOAD program I was very impressed with it’s accuracy and functionality. I immediately began looking into purchasing a program that could be developed for the electronic era. There were several drawbacks to QuickLOAD and none of them were really critical. To me the benefits and advantages were too compelling to not go this route.
I have been using the RTS version of QuickLOAD for over 13 years now. Their product has not changed in that time. It still produces excellent results.
I think that if you are serious about your handloading hobby, it would be a good idea to invest in some ballistic software before you start designing handloads.
If you do not yet own the program be sure to pick one up. The more information you enter the easier it is to learn and to use the program. We cant say enough good about this outstanding program and our readers should be aware of this excellent Ballistic Prediction Software. You can be sure of one thing: NECOs software is accurate and easy to use. It will pay for itself many times over in being able to save loads and get better predictions for future loads. Highly recommended.
If you are in the handloading hobby for very long you undoubtedly will hear about a Internal Ballistic Modeling Software called QuickLOAD. It is developed in Europe and distributed in the United States by NECO. Here is the link to NECOs website. It contains an impressive database of Cartridges, Bullets, and Powders. In many instances the information is provided by the manufacturers, to the developers, for inclusion in this software.
QuickLOAD is a pretty amazing program. Using information for over 1200 cartridges, 250 powders, and 2500 bullet types, QuickLOAD allows you to predict velocities and pressures for your hand-loaded ammo. You can check predicted pressures with different powder choices and seating depths before loading an actual round. If you do not yet own QuickLOAD, you can now order the latest Version 3.9 of this unique software. Priced at $152.95, the latest version 3.9 contains all the updates through January, 2018 and is compatible with WINDOWS 2000, XP, VISTA, Windows 7, Winows 8 and Windows 10. QuickLOAD/QuickTARGET 3.9 can be purchased for $152.95 from Neconos.com. For a full explanation of the features and benefits of QuickLOAD software, click the link below.
