The GeoLocker is a geolocation-blocker which avoids location-based ads within a selected radius of your location. The radius can be from 2 meters up to 500 meters (16.6 ft to 161 ft) and an even larger radius can be used if you are aware of the surrounding area.
How does it work?
The GeoLocker changes the IP address of your device and the IP of the radio stations that are streamed, for example, from 40.23.11.49 to 40.23.11.100.
This forces those radio stations to work with a new IP address and therefore blocks the geolocation-based ads.
The GeoLocker is optimized for all media devices, e.g. Internet Radio, Phone Radio, Media Players, etc

For information on how to use Open Broadcaster Software, visit

and/or
www.youtube.com.
Your audio input is the soundcard and your audio output is the
mic that opens up your recording.
The easiest way to record sound in Open Broadcaster Software is
to utilize the built-in recording feature. This can be found
under the ‘In’ drop down menu.
However, you can also record ‘audio out’ if your application is
based on the Audio/Video Editor instead of the Audio only
Editor.
1. Select the ‘In’ option from the ‘In’ drop down menu and press
‘Play’.
2. You will now hear the ‘Sounds’ and ‘XSound’s that you have
added onto your scene. You can mute / unmute / stop /
continue, and change their volume if you wish.
3. Once you have stopped recording, press ‘Settings’.
4. In the ‘Settings’ menu, you will notice a drop down menu
called ‘Video Quality’. Select the highest quality that you
need. The quality of your video will change accordingly.
5. Press ‘Save’ to save the file. Your video will now be
available to be broadcasted.
[Note: The video quality of the recording can be very slow if you
use a low quality sound card and the maximum of ‘3X speed’ if you
use a higher quality sound card. For optimal quality, it is
recommended that you record to a USB sound card or use a
video capture card for your webcam.]
Note: Use your mouse to drag the ‘volume’ channel on your main
mixer which will change the volume of your sound.

Great idea. Amazing that you came up with this, its ace – brilliant. Was it difficult? I just put some music on and it sounded awesome. At some point did you give up and find it easier to use a fan of a laptop or a keyboard?
It was kind of hard to design at the beginning. But the more I played with it, the more I enjoyed it. I had to use a computer to do it!
Your fan is actually a very simple circuit. It uses a Pn diode, which is a simple diode circuit with the diode acting like a switch, clicking it on or off. If you want to know how to build it, take a look at my Widget page.
Thanks, Now I need to find time to build it and add it to my site. Is your design free/open source?
I don’t have time to build custom widgets right now, but I do offer Open Source widgets.
Check out my “Open Source Widget Designs” page for more options, including the one used for “Longplayer.org.Radio”.
Thanks for the feedback.

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain are an eight piece string band hailing from Watford, UK. The group is the brainchild of former drummer in the North London rock group, Placebo, Joe Higgs. Higgs cites the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain as his main musical inspiration: ‘The music of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is really good and I’m not alone – there are a lot of people who like it’.
I couldn’t be more excited about the new version of this band, Longplayer.org Radio. What will the orchestra play? It’s anyone’s guess. Will it be Bjork? (highly likely). Will it be Radiohead? (less likely). Will it be Ben Folds? (I’m not a bad judge of music… maybe).
Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain seem to tap into that ‘strange and wonderful thing’, that old combination of the sublime and the ridiculous. Good luck to them, I look forward to listening to their tunes.
