If you're not exactly a fan of cloud-based password managers, then you can always employ the services of similar apps with a slightly oldschool approach that store your password locally. Take, for example, KeePassXC.
One of the best password managers, also available in portable form
What started out in life as a community fork of the great KeePassX cross-platform port of KeePass Password Safe, KeePassXC bundles a significant number of user-requested fixes and extra features, but what really defines it as a whole is its capability of storing credentials locally with an extra layer of protection courtesy of strong AES 256-bit encryption algorithm.
It also bundles a capable password generator, it comes with support for auto-typing (or auto-fill), and this particular version, KeePassXC Portable, also comes with a set of extra particular portability benefits.
For instance, it does not require installation, hence, it can easily accompany you everywhere on any storage device. Of course, it can be run on almost any computer, just as long as you keep in mind that the database is, as mentioned before, locally- stored, which means you will have to take it with you, as well.
Decently-equipped, simple to work with, and very versatile, portable password manager
Other than that, living with KeePassXC Portable on a daily basis should pose no challenges, mainly thanks to its minimalist user interface and feature set. It provides you with simple ways of adding and organizing your credentials (groups and sub-groups), a handy search function and other types of little things that are meant to improve the overall experience, as we're sure you won't be disappointed by quickly visiting the Settings section.
Other noteworthy advantages include the instrumentally-important password manager, which is quite capable as well, and the Auto-Type feature, which has the potential to significantly improve your productivity by automatically filling in the required log in data in the forms.
Taking everything into account, it's easy to see why KeePassXC is such a great tool. With all the necessary tools and a minimalist all-round approach, KeePassXC is one of the best options for users looking for a password manager that securely stores data on their PC, and KeePassXC Portable is probably even better since it offers everything its installer counterpart does, with a few portability quirks.
KeePassXC Portable Full Crack is a cross-platform password manager, designed for Windows, Linux and Mac.
It allows you to collect and organize your passwords for online and offline activities. It is inspired by the original KeePassX application, and is developed by the same team that has been working on the KeePass project for years. It has a unique “cloud-first” concept where your passwords are locally stored and encrypted, but they are also synchronized in the cloud with the new and old versions stored there to support versioning. KeePassXC Portable allows you to access those databases and to import passwords from KeePass applications on different platforms, and it is fully compatible with KeePass 2.x and KeePassX 2.
This new version comes with a lot of new features, amongst which we can mention: support for multiple databases at the same time, search across all the databases, bulk import and export of password files, ability to restore database backups, view and edit passwords, add new templates, add additional data field support, dictionary autofill, and more.
And if you like the new design, KeePassXC Portable makes it possible to use it in both a tablet and mobile app version, so you can use it everywhere. You can also use KeePassXC Portable in Windows, Linux, Mac OS and Android.
The program is free and open source, just like its predecessor.
It supports the encrypted database format and it is AES 256-bit encrypted, with Salt. Keys and passwords are stored with SHA-256 or SHA-512, and the database is compressed with LZMA.
KeePassXC Portable has been tested with KeePass 2.31.2, KeePass 2.3.0, KeePassX2 2.4.0 and KeePass 2.3.2 on Windows XP SP3, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and 10, and Linux Mint 18.1 and 19.1.
KeePassXC Portable includes the following extensions:
* multidb: multidb is a GUI for accessing multiple databases simultaneously from the same session.
* database compare: compares databases by their structure and identifies differences, or the number of differences.
* import/export from other KeePassXC apps: it allows importing/exporting a file containing a KeePass database or KeePassX database. These files can be created with Password Safe, KeePassX, and KeePass 2.x and KeePassX
