Gentleman A Timeless Guide To Fashion Bernhard Roetzel Pdf Mega
what a great book! i’ve been a fan of gq magazine for a long time and the first time i saw an article by editor paul keers (formerly of gq), i was intrigued by the phrase “how-to-dress-like-a-man.” keers has been helping gq readers for years with style-related articles, and his style tips have always struck a chord with me. they’re not just about how to dress but also about how to care for your clothes so they last. i’m not an expert on men’s style, but i found keers’s book an indispensable guide. the book is not only a thorough compendium of style basics, but it’s also smartly written with stories that help the reader appreciate both the book’s subject matter and how to dress well.
great job!! this is the only book i’ve found that really goes into the history of how men’s suit styles developed. it’s very basic but very useful, and i appreciate the fact that it includes a section of the male anatomy.
reading, traveling and living in france for seven years, i’ve shopped at many of the department and boutiques that you’ve been discussing. i’ve met men who understand fashion and their own style as well as they know their car or those they admire. this may be because of the clothing they have, the people they have met or the attention they have received from others. i also have been involved in the fashion business since graduating from college in 1985 and spent time working in various stores around new york city. after returning to france and starting my own mail-order business, i began helping other men and women choose the right clothing to make a better impression. i’ve learned that it’s helpful to use an outside source to understand where men and women are and help them find the right style. why stay in the status quo when you can upgrade? the new men’s style guide will help you determine which suits, shoes and accessories can improve your image while staying true to your personal style. you will learn what men want to see in their clothes, and you can show the world that you know what you’re talking about! find out what you should wear from head to toe, how to make him stand out from the crowd and how to score the perfect job interview
i didn’t realize how much i was missing until i was introduced to the style concept. after reading your style guide, it gave me so much more knowledge of dress and my own style. i also find that the “rules” of dress that you have pointed out are so logical and practical. your guide has really helped me!
thank you so much for sharing! i don’t really have to say anything more, you’ve already gained my trust and commitment to your suggestions!
you are a great teacher!
