another great software that i have used is xpm. this lets you create lyrics, background images, and any other item you want. it is free and is a simple to use and full featured software. you can download it here. the downside is that you need to create your own images and you have to use a png file type. it can export in a wide variety of formats, and it has an easy to use interface. the learning curve can be a little steep though, so you can spend a lot of time trying to get something to work.
for the majority of my songs, i use the lyrics from my hymnals. they are all in the same format, and i can change the lyrics to suit my needs. however, i do also use mp3s, and use them for certain songs, and in some cases, i want a different song to play for certain parts. for example, when i have recorded a message, i have been using the message itself as the background song. however, when i am using the message, i want something for a different part of the message to have a different background.
to create a background song, you need to go into options and click the song tab. in this tab, there is a drop down button where you can choose your source. you can also choose different options for your song, such as volume or panning. you can create several songs at once, and have them all sound different, and even play at different times.
for the most part, i use frontpage for creating my pages, and dreamweaver for the website. it is the easiest to use program for creating web pages. it is powerful enough for me to create all my web pages, and it has a lot of the features i need. as i mentioned before, i use the website for uploading my songs to my blog. it is simple to use, and it lets me add my songs to the blog in an easy to access place.
as of easyworship 5.2.4, easyworship also supports a new playlist format which allows you to save and load playlists. playlists can be created and shared with or among others. playlists can be used to organize your songlist and can be used to add easy access for new songs to your library. playlists can be created with easyworship with a simple right click, from a third party application, or by using an external playlist utility like windows media player’s smart playlist builder.the easyworship list importer is a tool that can be used to import playlists from or into easyworship. you can also re-import playlists from a playlist in word format which you have exported using word. the easyworship list importer allows import of playlists from the microsoft windows media player files (.wma,.wma*.mp3, etc), the microsoft word files (.doc,.docx,.xls,.xlsx, etc) and from the comma separated values (.csv) files. the easyworship list importer is not restricted to the import of playlists from these file formats, but will import playlists from any playlist created with the easyworship list importer and from microsoft windows media player, word and.csv playlist files. it is recommended that you use the easyworship list importer as the first step when importing playlists.
if you do not install the easyworship player when you are first installing a new computer or you install it, but never use it, the easyworship configuration files are saved in the profile folder and those files are lost and cannot be recreated.
the easyworship program can be saved and run in two modes. mode 1 is the default in the earlier versions of easyworship and allows the user to make changes to songs in the songlist, insert new songs, and also make changes to the songbook. if the user makes changes to songs, the easyworship program will no longer work in this mode until those changes are deleted.
